Our Syraco leads with a near-opaque ruby colour, then the nose lays out elegant impressions of cherries under spirits, redcurrant, and cocoa powder, while maturation in oak gives notes of tanned leather and Eastern spices. A decisive, wellbalanced palate concludes with a long-lingering finish.

100% varietals or innovative blends of Sicilian or international grapes, these wines represent the very soul of Baglio di Pianetto, marrying together the character of Sicily with the elegance of France. These refined and superblybalanced wines enrich any daily occasion.

Fermentation and Maturation

After the grapes are quality-selected and picked by hand, the berries are gently pressed and the must fermented with local ambient yeasts. The wine then matures for 12 months in new, once- and twice-used oak barrels and completes ageing in the bottle for a minimum of 2 years.
