Etna Wines

Two monovarietal wines grown on the slopes of Mount Etna, fruit of the desire to use Baglio di Pianetto’s sustainable approach to interpret the volcano’s unique soils. Decisive minerality and forward flavours give these wines their notable versatility in partnering with different type of dishes.

Fermentation and Maturation

After the grapes are quality-selected by hand, the berries are gently pressed, then the must ferments for about 10 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel. After a 12-month maturation in large oak barrels, the wine receives further ageing in steel before bottling.
